The Barley
We use the very best barley for our whisky. The best barley you can get comes from our rich, fertile soils in Nerike, County of Sweden. The Swedish farmers are world famous for their clean and healthy production.
The preferred profile of our whisky balances aromatic peat-infused smokiness with heather honey sweetness.
We plan to be one of only a handful of distilleries worldwide where the expensive and physically demanding custom of turning malt by hand still takes place. Circa 30 % of the malt used to make our whisky will be coming from Nerike, Sweden.
